SUPERNATURAL VS NATURAL

Hey lovelies,

“Supernatural versus natural” with this I mean GOD’s timing versus mans timing. In the supernatural there is faith, power, perfect timing, boldness and the assurance that what is going to happen will happen, and what has been asked for from God will come to pass and surely take effect in our lives… Whereas in the natural its dependant on the timing of man who aren’t always certain, correct, reliable and take more time to do things, they will promise to have something done or given to you at a certain time, but do not always live up to what they say, you can never can take a man’s word to be certain. BUT with God you can be rest assured that once He says something it shall surely come to pass, we will never have to doubt His word and with the things He has promised us. That is why in everything we do we should ALWAYS rely on the supernatural timing and not the natural timing.

Another important factor which differentiates the supernatural from the natural are the terms IMPOSSIBLITY AND POSSIBILITY…

POSSIBILITY (SUPERNATURAL).

Supernaturally it has never been stated that anything we want or anything we would like to do is impossible, but rather Gods word says that anything and everything we plan to do is always possible so long as we have faith and believe in God it shall happen. Never has God said so this is what you want but its going to be impossible to get this because of x y and z.. He has always met our needs and given more than we expected. The God of possibilities, the God of greatness, the God of yes and not no (Unless its to give you something even better than what you asked for) Our Father who always watches over us and gives us nothing less than what we expect, an awesome God full of mighty wonders..

There are various examples of events, where God has made the impossible to become possible, I will discuss a few just to make you see that the God that we serve is really a God who makes miracles happen and is like no other, above humans and loves unconditionally:

v Healing blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52) Jesus came to Jericho and as He went out with His disciples and a great number of people, Blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat down by the highway side begging. Once He had heard that Jesus of Nazareth was near, he began to cry out loudly saying to Jesus ‘Thou son of David, have mercy on me.’ Much to the shock of many around they asked him to hold his peace, but with that he cried out even louder. ‘Thou son of David, have mercy on me.’ Once Jesus heard his cries He stood still and commanded him to be called. So the blind man was called saying unto him, ‘Be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee.’ And he, casting away his garment rose up and came to Jesus.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘what wilt thou that I should do unto thee?’ The blind responded ‘Lord, that I might receive my sight.’ (THIS SHOWS THE FAITH AND COURAGE BARTIMAEUS HAD IN JESUS TO ASK FOR SUCH A REQUEST AND WITH THAT ACTION HE WAS HEALED)… This isn’t possible in the natural, but in the supernatural as mentioned ANYTHING is possible..

And Jesus said unto him, ‘Go thy way; thy FAITH hath made thee whole.’ And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.

v Secondly, the way the story evolved with God and Abraham (His wife Sarah with the issue of a child), is a reminder which shows us that God keeps to His promises in His set time and never loses focus for what He has promised us. He sees us through it all and will always complete what He started. God’s first major step toward restoring His love relationship with mankind began with ABRAHAM. He told Abraham to follow Him out of his home country and ‘He will make of thee a great nation, and He will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and He will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:2-3). In essence, God said, Abraham, I’m going to start this thing over with you. I’m going to produce a seed in your body, and this seed is the beginning.’ However to Abraham and Sarah it didn’t work out exactly how they would have thought. God WAITED until Abraham’s body was ninety- nine years old- Now everyone would say but wait his baby making factory was shut down and in the natural eyes it would be impossible to make a baby, but in the supernatural eyes God gave Abraham a seed of promise.

We will not actually understand Gods plan but Him, unless we see that God could give Abraham the seed that hit Sarah’s ninety-nine years old barren womb. But do remember that by this time they ‘were old and stricken in age (Genesis 18:11).

The most important point to take away from this story is that God came along and quickened that which was already dead and brought it back to life again. Soo strong and powerful that an old woman’s body came back to together, her muscles began to tingle, and she experienced the sexual pleasure again (Genesis 18:12). This can only be God at work!!!

Isaac was conceived, and in her well advanced age, God gave her the strength to bring the miracle child into this world. This is the seed of promise that Abraham passed down through forty- two generations, found a virgin called Mary, wraps Himself in flesh and comes out and stands among us and says:

‘ I am the seed of Abraham,

I am the root of Jesse,

I am the Lamb of God,

I am the Lion of the Tribe of Judah,

I am the resurrection and the life,

And he that believeth in Me, though

He was dead, yet shall he live.’

Through the supernatural eyes, yes Jesus is the seed of Abraham, the son of David, and Ruth’s ultimate Kinsman Redeemer. But for the purpose of God restoring us to Himself, Jesus bears the name that stands out: ‘and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which means ‘GOD IS WITH US’ (Matthew 1:23).

Emmanu meaning ‘with us’ El refers to Elohim, or God… Emmanuel is ‘God tabernacled with us’ – meaning not above us or somewhere nearby, but ‘with us’ and with this all of us are included. God is meeting us in a specific place; Emmanuel is God’s rendezvous with humanity. He is the place we’re going to meet.

v  Thirdly, the woman with the issue of blood: Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-34; Luke 8:43-48

Here a woman who had the issue of blood for twelve years, rendered legally unclean, had suffered many things of physicians and spent all that she had and rather than getting better, she got worse (Jesus’ healing was priceless and instant, as opposed to paying those physicians and getting no positive result. Again this comes down to the extensive difference between the supernatural and natural). So when she heard of Jesus coming she managed to come behind Him and His disciples in a large crowd to touch the hem of His garment. For she said within herself, if I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.  She touched the hem and was made whole, from that moment the fountain of her blood was all dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

You see she was God fearing, soo humble and had a lot of faith. But her uncleanness and pressure of the large crowd made close contact with Jesus impossible, but all that didn’t stop her from touching the hem of His garment and that action is what healed her instantly. The woman planned to touch the hem in an unnoticeable way, but once she touched it Jesus immediately knew in Him that the virtue had gone out of Him, causing Him to ask who touched Him. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth. When Jesus saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole.’ Just by that single touch!!!!! How awesome is thy works.

v   A deaf man is healed (Mark 7: 31-37) Departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, He came unto the Sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis. Bought to Jesus was an individual who was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech, and they beseech him and placed his hand upon him. And He took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and He spit, and touched his tongue, looking up to heaven, He sighed and saith unto HIM, Ephphatha, that is BE OPENED.

And as soon as He did this the man’s ears were opened and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he was able to speak. There was soo much shock that even after being told not to tell no man the more the story was published around, and they were beyond astonished, saying, He hath done all things well, He maketh both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.

Another great example of the supernatural power, and why we should not rely on the natural to meet our needs, for any need we have should be given to God and He in turn will take control of that matter and settle it for you. You will always have that assurance He will, no matter how big or small the matter is GOD IS ABLE..

Those were just a few examples of the awesome power, healing, miraculous and astonishing works Jesus did from healing the sick, curing the blind, making a barren woman conceive, changing the impossible possible.

There is a blessing on our lives, to turn us to good from bad. No man but God can explain everything that He has done and is still continuing to do.. But one thing we can all be assured of, is the kingly anointing on each us, the anointing to decree things to happen in our lives, yes God can make it happen but for us to believe and have faith so shall we speak into matters that affect us and how we would like them to be taken care of and see God do the rest. This is the supernatural power.

IMPOSSIBILITY (NATURAL).

Whereas with the natural, nothing can compare to the works as mentioned previously, in the natural view there will be disappointments, impossibilities, slow progress and at times no positive outcomes to help with your issues. Whether doctors, psychiatrists, physicians, whoever they may be they cannot always guarantee the exact answer to your solution. Although if they do, it will not last and you will be back to your original position, it will never be 100%.

Food for thought to summarise what has been mentioned, supernatural events take different timing to things that happen naturally. God vs man if you like, and with God there is unlimited power, and blessings on us all, and we must have faith in it, believe it and stay focused on His word. The blessings are powerful enough to make a garden out of any place on earth. So decree things over all areas in your life whether it be a job promotion, love, happiness, finances, health, your life etc.. Isaiah 65:16: ’That He who blesseth Himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.’
